Bathroom Renovation in Uxbridge – Bespoke Shower & Stone Flooring

This full bathroom renovation in Uxbridge, West London, transformed a dated bathroom with a large corner bath into a carefully finished space. First, ARDECO replaced the old bathroom fittings and prepared the room for a custom-built shower enclosure. The team then fitted individually measured glass panels and new stone flooring. In addition, we replaced the existing plumbing with entirely new pipework.

As a result, the completed room brings together classic bathroom fittings, contrasting deep-blue and white wall tiles, a decorative basin and toilet, and an ornate timber mirror. At the same time, the original sloping ceiling and roof window retain the room’s distinctive character. Overall, the finished bathroom follows the layout and design selected for this property.

The finished photographs show the handmade shower, fitted glass, stone floor and traditional sanitaryware from several angles. In particular, they highlight how the bespoke shower fits beneath the sloping ceiling.

What We Completed

Full bathroom refurbishment: removal of the outdated bathroom fittings and preparation for the redesigned layout.
Complete plumbing replacement: removal of the existing pipework and installation of new plumbing throughout the bathroom.
Bespoke shower construction: a shower enclosure built on site to suit the existing room geometry and sloping roof.
Custom shower glass installation: measuring and fitting glass shower panels and doors to suit the handmade enclosure.
Stone flooring: fitting a new stone floor with a contrasting inset pattern.
Wall tiling: deep-blue glazed tiles in the shower area paired with white rectangular tiles and dark border details around the room.
Bathroom fittings: installation of traditional-style bathroom fixtures, basin, toilet, shower controls and finishing accessories.

Custom Shower and Glass Installation

ARDECO replaced the original corner bath with a shower designed for this distinctive loft-style bathroom. Because the ceiling slopes, the team carefully planned the shower area around the roofline, wall junctions and available floor space. We then fitted the custom glass panels to the completed enclosure. Consequently, the made-to-measure shower works with the room’s unusual layout while preserving its character.

Stone Floor and Traditional Finishes

The light-coloured stone floor has contrasting dark inserts that complement the deep-blue shower tiles and white wall tiles. Meanwhile, heritage-inspired fittings, a decorative ceramic basin and the timber-framed mirror give the finished bathroom its traditional character.

Before the Bathroom Renovation

Before the renovation, the room contained a corner bath, older wall tiles, a basin, a toilet and a bidet. These photographs document that original arrangement. Together, they show how much the space changed during the Uxbridge bathroom refurbishment.
